インプラントはどのくらいもちますか？

インプラントは正しくケアをすれば、10年以上使えることが多い治療法です。
研究では、10年後に9割以上のインプラントが問題なく機能していると報告されています。
さらに、毎日の歯みがきや歯科医院での定期検診を続けることで、20年以上使える方も多くいらっしゃいます。

長持ちさせるために大切なこと

  • 毎日の丁寧な歯みがき

  • 糸ようじや歯間ブラシの使用

  • 3〜6か月ごとの定期検診とプロによるクリーニング

  • 喫煙・糖尿病・歯周病のある方は特に注意が必要です

ご理解ください

インプラント自体は人工物なので虫歯にはなりませんが、周囲の歯ぐきや骨が炎症を起こす（インプラント周囲炎）と、早くダメになってしまうことがあります。
そのため、「一生もちます」とは限らないことをご理解ください。
ただし、きちんとケアを続ければ、長期にわたって自分の歯のように快適に使えます。
